When sharing the Gospel with another individual, it is very important to use teaching time wisely.  After all, you may only be given one opportunity to meet with that person. So, what do you teach?  Although the subject can be approached in many different ways, it is useful to have a study guide for people who want  to learn how to teach.

This article provides an illustrated teaching template that outlines the scope of a personal Bible study lasting just over an hour. It is useful as a teacher’s guide (i.e., set of notes) for Bible study leaders and as a learning handout for Bible students.  In it, the Good News of Jesus is presented through five key Pillars of Truth that underlie the Christian Faith.  An explanation for the material in the template can be found in an accompanying article entitled “The Good News of Jesus Christ”.
